Tailwind Nutrition has launched Chocolate Mint Recovery Mix – a seasonal, limited edition flavor of Tailwind Recovery Mix that benefits Friends of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center.
The launch of Chocolate Mint Recovery Mix and partnership with FoCAIC highlights Tailwind Nutrition’s increased efforts to educate winter sports participants about the importance of hydration and recovery. Staying hydrated and maintaining caloric intake can help reduce fatigue, increase mental clarity, as well as help avoid negative reactions to altitude.
FoCAIC supports the Colorado Avalanche Information Center, while contributing to avalanche awareness and education throughout Colorado. Over the past 15 years, the organization has funded avalanche awareness curriculums, developed avalanche safety videos and signage, created outreach for new and existing users, built new web and mobile applications, and supported the CAIC’s forecast operations.
