Quick update on the spring marathon plan. The high hamstring tendinopathy I’ve been dealing with for several months still isn’t where it needs to be, so I’m officially pulling the plug on the One City Marathon. I thought about rolling the fitness into Shamrock, but that’s still too soon for the tendons to settle and for me to get match fit.
New target: the Tidewater Striders Spring Marathon on April 26th. More time to heal, more time to train smart, and a much better chance of actually getting to the start line in reasonable shape.
Adjust, adapt, keep moving forward.
