HEED – Hammer Nutrition’s popular sports drink – is now available in two great new flavors; Mild Melon and Subtle Berry. I’m typically a fan of the Mandarin Orange flavor, but now I’ve tasted Mild Melon (the good folks at Hammer Nutrition included several sample packs in my last order), I think I’ll soon be switching.
HEED is not your typical artificially colored sugar water sports drink that does little to aid your performance, it’s
a subtle tasting, all-complex carbohydrate formula that goes down easily and supplies you with consistent, long-lasting energy and the electrolytes you need to keep pushing the pace.
Now available in 4 different flavors (Mild Melon, Subtle Berry, Mandarin Orange and Lemon-Lime) , HEED comes in single serving pouches and also a 32-serving plastic drum.
Full product details and usage information can be found over at the Hammer Nutrition web site.
Another great addition to the Hammer range of endurance fuels is the all-new Strawberry flavored Recoverite. I’ve been a Recoverite fan for several years now and always use it after tough workouts, long runs and races. Quite simply it’s the best product to minimize post-exercise muscle soreness, rebuild muscle tissue and restore muscle glycogen.
There’s nothing wrong with the original Subtle Citrus flavor, but after trying the new Strawberry offering on the weekend, I’m going to stick with the new one for a while; it’s delicious! For the record, Recoverite is available in a single serving pouch, 6-pack single serving box and a 32-serving plastic drum.
Don’t forget, as the Hammer motto goes;
How well you perform tomorrow depends on how well you recover today.
In my opinion, Recoverite is well worth adding to your post-race routine…
