It was a bit chilly tonight (88°F), so I decided to run another Kara Goucher NIKE+ Workout. Last time I did the workout I covered 5.5 miles in just under 40 minutes. Tonight, I went a little further (5.65 miles) and averaged 6 minutes 50 seconds per mile.
Quite an uneventful workout to be honest, although I must admit I’m feeling quite good about my running at the moment. Long may it continue!

Hi Steve
Glad to hear all is well with you and your running. I did chuckle a little to hear that is was a little cool at 88 degrees. That sounds like me talking as for the most part I love the hot weather. Interested to see what you have coming up.
Best of luck,
Hey Bill,
I wondered if anyone would notice the “chilly” comment.
As for races coming up, most of mine are listed in the Race Countdown section on the right hand side. Next month I’m doing a fun race (www.muddybuddy.com) with my wife – really looking forward to that one, but for the most part I’ll just knock out a few shorter races over the summer with the aim of running a marathon PR at Richmond in November. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon in September should be a cracker too….
Looking forward to stepping up the mileage in the warmer months and also improving my core strength and fitness. How about taking the hundred push ups challenge?
Hope you’ve recovered from your melt down last weekend. Scary stuff!

Good thing you are well, I really admire you in your running skill. Keep it up!
