Decided to take it easy this week to allow my legs to recover from Sunday’s 25 mile run. It was almost marathon distance, and the recovery was almost marathon-like. So, just 25 miles in five days, which means I should be fairly fresh for tomorrow’s inaugural Virginia is for Lovers 14k.
Monday: 4 miles
Tuesday: 7 miles
Wednesday: 5 miles
Thursday: 4 miles
Friday: 5 miles
I threw in some random push ups and sit-ups, but nothing structured again this week. Nice to have a break from the strictness of a training plan for a while.
No goal in mind for the race tomorrow. Just going to see what happens and treat it as a slightly faster than tempo run….
Enjoy the weekend!
Easy weeks are great. 😉

I was surfing through the blogs to find some runners inspiration..I’ve been having some kinda runners block and need some motivaton..and then I found you! Wow..you have some kick ass runs and work outs! Great reading ! Now I wanna do 100 push ups!! I can do 40 at once…never tried a hundred .haha! Anyways I just started up a running blog.i thought this may inspire me and get me through my mental block…..I’m by no means a super fast runner…I’ve run many marathons and right now I’m trying hard to improve my speed…anyways I just thought I’d give you a shout and say…what you’ve accomplished is pretty awesome!!
Here is my blog ..not much yet but like I said…I’m trying to get inspired again!!http://confessionsofarunnergirl.blogspot.com/
