Chucking it down with rain this afternoon, so I just ran easy for 30 minutes on the treadmill. No point in getting cold and wet a couple of days before a marathon, eh?
Legs are feeling pretty good but to be honest I just want to drive to Richmond and get on with the race. Patience is a virtue….
Weather forecast for Saturday: thundershowers, high 66°F, low 39°F, with 16mph winds out of the south. Perfect!
Yeah, perfect weather (not)! At least it will keep you from overheating and you get a nice tail wind during most of the 2nd 1/2 of the race. The last bit looks fairly sheltered too (that video preview was great). Good luck and run well!
